Letter to investors, week 4
Ras Al Khaimah, January 24, 2026
Dear investors,
The week from 19 to 25 January closes with +10.6% on the master account and approximately +7% for you. Gold gained almost 8% in five days and approached $5,000, driven by the Greenland dispute and by a dollar that has been falling for months. Markets this fast offer opportunities but demand discipline. Five positive days, between 1.6% and 2.6%. Even on Wednesday 21, when gold fell temporarily below $4,800 during the Davos speech, the account closed at +2.6%. A market that swings widely in both directions offers more opportunities to an intraday strategy. The same market can, however, become dangerous when a move turns sudden and one-directional: this is the risk we always keep in mind.
The Federal Reserve meets on Wednesday 28. We wish you a good week.
With kind regards,
Duemar International Duemar International FZ-LLC, Ras Al Khaimah
