Letter to investors, week 3
Ras Al Khaimah, January 17, 2026
Dear investors,
With this letter we begin the weekly update that will accompany your investment. The first week of operations, from 12 to 18 January, closes with +15.0% on the master account and approximately +11% for you, net of the fee. Gold began the year with new records, supported by a weak dollar and by uncertainty over the independence of the Federal Reserve. The strategy trades gold only, on 15-minute charts. It opens and closes many positions over the course of the day, both long and short: it does not bet on the direction of the metal but on its intraday movements. The account began trading on Tuesday 13 and all four days were positive, the best being Wednesday 14 (+5.2%), the day of the record at $4,643. These figures are the product of an exceptionally volatile market: we do not regard them as a sustainable pace, and we ask that you do not regard them as such either. Each week you will find here the figures, the context and, when they occur, the difficult days, reported with the same candour.
On Monday 19 US markets are closed for Martin Luther King Day and liquidity will be reduced. We wish you a good week.
With kind regards,
Duemar International Duemar International FZ-LLC, Ras Al Khaimah
