Letter to investors, week 31
Ras Al Khaimah, August 1, 2026
Dear investors,
The week from 27 July to 2 August closes with +6.0% on the master account, with no fees. The account now stands about 2% from its late-June high. The Federal Reserve left rates unchanged, but three of the twelve members would have wanted a hike: the path for monetary policy remains narrow. On Wednesday 29, the day of the Fed meeting, the account closed at +0.7%, the most modest session of the week; the other days were between 1.1% and 1.5%. Of the two Fed meetings following the April one, neither produced a loss.
We wish you a good week.
With kind regards,
Duemar International Duemar International FZ-LLC, Ras Al Khaimah

- Wednesday 29, FOMC Rates on hold at 3.50–3.75% with a 9-3 vote. The three dissenters (Hammack, Kashkari, Logan) wanted a hike.
- The dollar weakens and gold rises more than 1% after the decision.
