Letter to investors, week 21
Ras Al Khaimah, May 23, 2026
Dear investors,
The week from 18 to 24 May closes with +11.4% on the master account and approximately +8% for you. Gold fell below $4,500 after the Federal Reserve minutes, which for the first time show a majority willing to raise rates. The week started with +3.5% on Monday and closed with progressively more modest returns, down to 1.3% on Friday. On Wednesday 20, the day of the Fed minutes and of gold's low at $4,453, the account closed at +2.3%.
The coming week is a special one for many of us: Tuesday 26 is the Day of Arafah and Eid al-Adha begins on Wednesday 27. Eid Mubarak to you and your families. On Monday 25 US markets are closed for Memorial Day and liquidity in gold will be reduced.
With kind regards,
Duemar International Duemar International FZ-LLC, Ras Al Khaimah
