Letter to investors, week 16
Ras Al Khaimah, April 18, 2026
Dear investors,
The week from 13 to 19 April closes with +10.1% on the master account and approximately +7% for you, with no losing days. On Friday the announcement of the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz pushed oil lower and gave gold its fourth week of gains. We have now had fourteen consecutive weeks without a single negative day. This is the right moment to state it clearly: the profile of this strategy consists of many small gains, with more than 70% of trades closed in profit according to platform data, and of losses that, when they come, tend to be concentrated in a single session. A long positive streak is not an absence of risk and should not be read as such.
Next week the candidate for Chair of the Federal Reserve will be heard by the Senate. We wish you a good week.
With kind regards,
Duemar International Duemar International FZ-LLC, Ras Al Khaimah
The week in the markets
Fourth positive week for gold, about +1.3%, closing at $4,829 after a high near $4,900 on Friday.

- Friday 17 Israel–Hezbollah truce and full reopening of Hormuz announced by Iran; oil falls and so do yields.
- Warsh's Senate hearing is expected on Tuesday 21.
Figures are calculated from the master account’s daily returns. The copier estimate applies the 30% fee to each week’s new profits above the previous high: the platform’s own calculation may differ.
