Letter to investors, week 10

Dear investors,

The week from 2 to 8 March closes with +16.1% on the master account and approximately +11% for you. Almost all of it came from a single session. After the attacks on Iran, gold opened sharply higher and then lost almost $400 in two days, as oil rose and expectations of rate cuts receded. Friday's negative employment figure added uncertainty. The +11.9% on Tuesday 3 came on the day gold gave up much of the rally that followed the attacks, in a move of almost $400 over two sessions. It is a day that cannot be repeated on demand and should not be read as an ordinary capability of the strategy: without it, the week would have been in line with the previous ones. On Friday 6, the day of the employment report, the account did not trade. On this occasion we preferred to stay out of the release: after a week of such wide movements, another employment surprise could have produced a one-directional move, which is the least favourable scenario for the strategy.

We wish you a good week.

With kind regards,

Duemar International Duemar International FZ-LLC, Ras Al Khaimah
