Letter to investors, week 43

Dear investors,

The week from 19 to 25 October closes with +5.4% on the master account and about +4% for you, with no losing days. Gold, by contrast, had its worst week since June and returned below $4,000, amid oil above $113, selling in tech stocks and rising inflation expectations. While gold was going through its worst week since June, the account closed five positive sessions, between 0.8% and 1.3%: including Friday 23, the day of the drop below $4,000, at +1.2%. On the day of the Fed meeting the strategy will trade cautiously in the hours around the decision. With the elections on Tuesday 3 November and the tensions over Hormuz still unresolved, we will reduce exposure ahead of the weekend, as we did after the September episode.

On Wednesday 28 the Federal Reserve meets, and on Tuesday 3 November the United States goes to the polls for the midterm elections: two events that could bring volatility and that we will follow with particular attention.

With kind regards,

Duemar International Duemar International FZ-LLC, Ras Al Khaimah
